GIORGIA GENTILE

Giorgia Gentile is the founder, designer, illustrator, graphic designer and creative director of her namesake brand. She was born in a small town in Sicily, southern Italy. Obsessed with the world of fashion since she was 16, she spent her formative years studying at Istituto Marangoni, in Milan.

 

THE BRAND

The Giorgia Gentile label was born in January 2020, based in Italy, It aims to dress all people, regardless of their gender identity and/or their biological sex. The Brand in fact focuses on the complexity of people. The Brand logo is a reinterpretation of Janus. In ancient Roman religion, Janus is considered “Divum Deus” (The God of Gods). This God represents duality, transitions, beginnings and endings, future and past.

The Brand reinterpreted the figure of Janus focusing on his dualism.

So, he is a God and a Goddess too.
